RE: REXHALL INDUSTRIES

The rule of thumb has been 1 HP for every 100 pounds of loaded coach. You never hear anybody complain of to much HP. Ours loaded is 27,600 pounds with a 370 Cumminss with 1200 torque pounds, does fine. But every so often a steep grade will make it work.

HWH Company Service

I want to "thank" Stacy for the excellent service he provided me on short notice while we were in Iowa. This is a company that does stand behind their product. But more than that, is to have a employee that provides the service and effort that turns a big problem (to me) into no big deal. He even took the time to call me on my cell, after leaving his shop to inform me of a engine oil leak, that I was not aware of the problem. I have read posting about poor service. I have to say that the REPUTATION of HWH for excellent service has been blemished due to untrained employees on the phone. But the repair shop employees go beyond the call of excellent service once your in the shop and the reputation of the company is restored! Thanks !!!

RE: Keyless Starting???

I have to agree with the problem. \ But have never have worried about a theft issue. I leave the key in at all times. It would be cheaper to install a kill switch under the dash.

RE: Slide mechanism grease

Not sure what yours is like. But I use a spray grease on both my slides every 6 months. Maybe over kill, but it works.

RE: Allison Transmission Problem

Norm Check the u-joints ! Maybe they did not get them tight when they installed the new motor. Good idea to check the ride-height, but I would think you would notice it in all gears if that was the problem. How many miles since you changed the filter??? Maybe it is your rock-guard? LOL We got home today. DeWayne

RE: Balloon Fiesta

The fatal accident was north of us, very sad ! The Ballon Fiesta is something that everybody should attend once. We were parked on the north edge of the landing field. The AT&T ballon landed within 20 feet of our MH Thursday morning. Yesterday morning with the change in the winds, they took off from the landing field. GREAT SHOW ! We are now in Gallop, N.M. setting out the strong winds ! ! !

HWH Service

THANKS for the great service I received on short notice yesterday at the factory !! Also that Stacy took the time to call me shortly after I left, to inform me he noticed a oil spot on the floor of his shop. Which allowed me to fix it immediately !!! Thanks again, Stacy !!

We had a used Lazy Daze for two years, before going to a Class A and never had a problem. They are a good unit.

RE: Vinyl decals

I would remove the decals with a decal eraser. You will be able to see where they were to mask for the paint. If you paint over the decals it will eventually crack or peel and you will be doing it over again. The paint job is only as good as what is under it for a base.

RE: Chassis Electrical Problems

Why not call Freightliner since it is a chassis electrical problem. I would make sure they work on MHs, not all will work on MHs.

Any one have a good camp ground, state park between Tucumcari, N.M. near 54 toward Wichita? Plus one around St. Joseph Missouri? These will be for one or two nights. Thanks in advance.
